Early frost stings the stalks of weighted morning grass.

Here is number 301…

Dawns temperatures plummet while early chills chase summer away.

Mirrored morning surface reflects upon a silk driven sky.

An optimistic sky snags any doubts of being skunked, while a pair fisherman share secrets and stories of landing the big one.

Early banks and low branches hustle with the flare of tails and feathers, where chipmunks and Stellar’s jays gather nuts and other interesting morsels for the most important meal of the day.

A cormorants jagged perch juts through a calm surface while a casual, low-key morning passes by.

Mount Hood reveals yet another dry day.

A young, bashful colt, poses for a well deserved shot.

Friend’s ‘Friendly Store’ reveals a pair aging front doors. While the store hasn’t been in operation since the early 1960’s, it really hasn’t stopped Mount Hood from reflecting upon its timely windows.
