365 Days of Flash Photography, With Day Number 124-126 Three Simple Images, Three Different Undertones

Adjusted126And the new $100 bill. This bill is a trip. I’ve already heard several conspiracy theories about this new bill. Very interesting. Lots of them are tied in to the “9/11 inside job” crowd. We will do anything when it comes to creating meaningful patterns, it’s how our brains are simply wired. Some will take those same meanings, and they’ll project them into a jumbled mess of conspiracies, weaving them throughout a simple yet sophisticated piece of paper.

Here Is Day Number 120…

365 Days of Flash Photography, With Day 119… Timeout Nook

Here Is Day Number 119…

©365DFP-119When my dad was a kid, half the school days were spent with him in timeout, seated behind this desk, in this very nook of a closet. He was told to read, but he never did. He’d watch the clock on the wall, and the hours would pass.

365 Days of Flash Photography, With Day Number 117 and 118…Tricked Out Hallowed By Ween Haunts

Here Is Day Number 117…

©Adjusted117This is the view from one of the bedrooms in an abandoned, yet haunted, homestead found over east of the Cascades. What a view, nothing but sage brush. Quiet, almost the sound of nothingness. Except for the voices, faint and distant, of past children playing, their laughter still heard over cups of afternoon java.

Here Is Day Number 118…

©Adjusted118A lonely chair, but don’t let it trick you. It was for timeout, and timeout only. If you got out of line, bam, you were sent to the cellar, and you were told to sit here, not over there, but here.

365 Days of Flash Photography, Days 114-115. REAL Haunted Cellar!

Here is Day Number 114…

Adjusted114Haunted propane. Sometimes the stove ignites itself, and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes you can hear the distant drips of coffee, slowly filling lost mugs of the past. And every once in a blue moon, Boyd’s drops by, the ghosts of yesteryear, stealing the last of the gas, leaving the stove empty and abandoned. And so it sits to this day, abandoned, haunted. Foggy memories with faint aromas drifting aimlessly, begging the question, “Is that Allann Bros?” With an even quicker reply, “No, that’s Holstein’s Coffee, from The Dalles.”
