Day Number 7…

©365-7There are certain scenes that speak, if they should be called scenes at all. For they are beyond description in their beauty of explanation. Or something like it. And I’m not being lazy with my thoughts, I just can’t identify the right words, if there are any.

Adjusted126And the new $100 bill. This bill is a trip. I’ve already heard several conspiracy theories about this new bill. Very interesting. Lots of them are tied in to the “9/11 inside job” crowd. We will do anything when it comes to creating meaningful patterns, it’s how our brains are simply wired. Some will take those same meanings, and they’ll project them into a jumbled mess of conspiracies, weaving them throughout a simple yet sophisticated piece of paper.

365 Days of Flash Photography, With Day Number 117 and 118…Tricked Out Hallowed By Ween Haunts

Here Is Day Number 117…

©Adjusted117This is the view from one of the bedrooms in an abandoned, yet haunted, homestead found over east of the Cascades. What a view, nothing but sage brush. Quiet, almost the sound of nothingness. Except for the voices, faint and distant, of past children playing, their laughter still heard over cups of afternoon java.

Here Is Day Number 118…

©Adjusted118A lonely chair, but don’t let it trick you. It was for timeout, and timeout only. If you got out of line, bam, you were sent to the cellar, and you were told to sit here, not over there, but here.

Here is Day Number 107…

Adjusted107May not be much, but I’m gonna be honest about this shot. I had a ton of crap around me. Literally surrounding both sides of me. Warped beams overhead, draped and bowed, brushing my beanie. I would adjust myself, take a step back, and the floor would creak and adjust itself. Not a very stable environment, kind of like the guy behind the camera. One of my flashes was in a rough situation. I spotted several nails, mini land mines. And the breeze, howling through every crack and crevice, like some kind of haunted thing coming to get me. Too bad ghosts are phony bologna. And that glass pane on the front door, it’s original.
